Saturday’s forecast called for possible chance of flurries…but not snow!! It was very gloomy outside all morning, but then the wind picked up REAL fast it sounded like rain on the windows. We ran to the front door and to our surprise it was SNOWING!!! Madison was jumping up and down with excitement she ran onto the front porch in her jammies and was screaming..IT’S SNOWING, IT’S SNOWING, IT’S SNOWING. It was coming down like crazy, I ran and grabbed my camera…which was a good thing cause just as soon as it came, it left!! It snowed for approximately 15-20 minutes really hard and even started to accumulate on the ground. Then there was thunder and lightening…a snow storm? could it be possible? Yep, sure enough that’s what it was!! Kind of embarrasing to call it a snow day, but I guess you could say it was our FIRST snowfall of the year!! After the excitement of the snow, the day turned sunny, very windy and all the snow melted and you never even knew it snowed at all!! Glad I managed to capture these photos {in the moment} so I can prove that it really DID snow on Saturday, February 11th at our house
Snow Day…NOT!
